      Terms of Use

      Term And Conditions

      Last updated: October 2026

These terms cover your use of coinknowledge.io and anything you buy from us. By using the site or buying from us, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer also apply.

Nothing we provide is financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

Who we are: Coin Knowledge Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 15899703), registered office Formal House, 60 St. Georges Place, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 3PN. You can contact us through the Contact page on our website or at info@coinknowledge.io.

      1. Using Our Website

      • Our content, including text, videos, course materials and our name and logo, belongs to us. You can use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and quote short extracts with credit. You can’t copy, share, sell or republish it, or use it to train AI systems, without our permission, except where the law allows.
      • Please don’t misuse the site. That means no unlawful, abusive or misleading posts, no pretending to be us, no promoting investments, "recovery" services or scams, and no hacking or disrupting the site. If you do, we may remove your content or block your access.
      • If you post a comment or review, you allow us to display it. We won’t remove a genuine review because it’s negative.
      • If you create an account, you must be 18 or over, keep your login private and not share your access.
      • Some links are affiliate links, which may earn us commission (see our Disclaimer). We’re not responsible for other websites.
      • We may change or remove content on the site at any time, but this won’t affect anything you’ve already paid for.

      2. Courses

      • You must be 18 or over to buy a course. The price at checkout is the total you pay, and our contract starts when we confirm your order by email.
      • Your course is for you alone. You’ll need an internet connection and an up-to-date web browser to use it. We’ll keep it available to you for at least 12 months from purchase. After that, if we withdraw it, we’ll give you at least 3 months’ notice.
      • Cancelling:you can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund, as long as you haven’t started the course. At checkout, you agree that you can start straight away and that you’ll lose this right once you start (for example, by opening a lesson). After that, we don’t give refunds unless the course is faulty.
      • If something’s wrong:if a course is faulty or not as described, we’ll fix it. If we can’t, you’re entitled to a price reduction, up to a full refund. Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 aren’t affected.pay monthly, the remaining payments for that term are still due. Apart from the cooling-off period below, we don’t refund the unused part of a term.
      • 14-day cooling-off:you can cancel within 14 days of first joining, within 14 days of free or discounted access ending, and within 14 days of a renewal. We’ll refund what you’ve paid for that term, less a proportionate amount for the days you had access, and if you pay monthly, no further payments will be due.
      • Changes and closure:member content and features will change over time, but we won’t significantly reduce what’s included without telling you first. If we close the Academy, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice, no further payments will be due, and we’ll refund any unused part of a term you’ve paid for.
      • Community rules:the Academy is a place for crypto and financial education. Please be respectful. Don’t promote ("shill") projects, products or services, post political rants, offensive language, scams or "recovery" offers, give other members financial advice, or share member content outside the Academy. Other members’ views are their own and aren’t advice. You can report any post you think is illegal or breaks these rules, and we’ll review it. We may remove posts, and if you seriously or repeatedly break these rules we may end your membership. If we do, no further payments will be due, and we’ll refund any unused part of a term you’ve paid for upfront.

      3. 1:1 Coaching

      • Coaching consists of one-to-one educational video sessions with our founder, James. It isn’t financial advice:we don’t recommend investments, tell you what to buy or sell, or coach on trading, derivatives or leverage. Your decisions are your own. Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone, including us.
      • The introductory call is free, with no obligation to buy. Sessions are paid for in advance, and you must be 18 or over to book.
      • Your 14-day right to cancel:you can cancel within 14 days of booking, and you’ll get a full refund for any session that hasn’t taken place. If a session takes place within those 14 days at your request, we’ll charge for it in proportion to the total price (for a package, the package price divided by the number of sessions). You can’t cancel a single session once it has taken place.
      • Rearranging:with at least 48 hours’ notice, you can rearrange a session for free, or cancel a single session for a full refund. With less notice, or if you don’t attend, the session counts as used. This doesn’t reduce your 14-day right to cancel.
      • Ending a package early:after the 14 days, you can end a package at any time. We’ll charge the sessions you’ve had at our standard single-session price at the time you bought the package, refund the rest, and never charge more than the package price. For example, if you paid £2,700 for ten 90-minute sessions and used four at £300 each, we’d refund £1,500.
      • If we cancel a session, you can choose a new time or a refund for that session (for a package, its share of the package price).
      • We don’t record sessions unless we both agree, and we keep what you tell us confidential unless the law requires otherwise.

      4. The Academy (Membership)

      • The Academy is a paid membership that gives you access to the member content and features described on the Academy page. You must be 18 or over to join.
      • Your membership term:membership lasts 12 months. You can pay for the year upfront or in 12 monthly payments. Before you join, we’ll show you the price, the total you’ll pay over the 12 months and how renewal works, and you’ll confirm this before paying.
      • Renewal:at the end of each 12-month term, your membership renews for another 12 months on the same payment basis unless you cancel. We’ll remind you before it renews. Prices don’t change during a term, and we’ll tell you about any price change at least 30 days before your renewal.
      • Free or discounted access:if we offer free or discounted introductory access, we’ll explain the terms when you join and remind you before it ends and paid membership starts.
      • Cancelling: you can cancel online at any time through your account, and we’ll confirm it by email. Your membership then ends at the end of your current 12-month term and won’t renew. If you
      • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there.

      5. Cancellations And Refunds

To cancel a course, coaching or Academy membership within your cancellation period, tell us through our Contact page or by email. You can use the form below, but you don’t have to. We’ll refund you within 14 days, using your original payment method.

      6. Our Liability

      • We don’t exclude or limit liability where the law doesn’t allow us to, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under your legal rights as a consumer.
      • Otherwise, we’re not responsible for any investment, trading or tax decision you make, or any loss that results from it. We’re also not responsible for lost cryptoassets, keys or passwords, for losses caused by exchanges, wallets or other third parties, or for losses that weren’t foreseeable. Our site, courses, coaching and Academy are for personal use, so we’re not liable for business losses.
      • Our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the course or coaching concerned, the Academy fees you paid in the 12 months before your claim, or £100 for anything free.

      7. Other Terms

      • We’re not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control. If this affects something you’ve paid for, we’ll offer you a new date or a refund.
      • If you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing a course, we may end your access.
      • We may update these terms, but changes won’t affect anything you’ve already paid for unless the law requires them.
      • Complaints:contact us and we’ll aim to respond within 14 days.
